Through all classes at the Yoga Workshop we teach a dynamic, focused, and deeply organic approach to the eight limbs of classical yoga. Our method of practice, our teaching and philosophy are grounded through the Ashtanga Vinyasa lineage of non-dualistic experience (advaita vedanta). This traditional approach is recognisable in Hindu and Buddhist contemplative traditions, as well as in the direct experience the practice itself uncovers.
We offer a wide range of classes for students of all levels.
In traditional Delhi style classes students practice individually, working on whichever series or therapeutic loop they are currently Practising with personalised assistance from the teachers. Our led classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of the internal forms of Ashtanga yoga; the sequencing of postures, alignment, breathing, Bandhas, Mudra and dristi.
In addition we have introductory courses on the Primary and Intermediate series, as well as introductory courses teaching the general principles of Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga, sitting meditation, yoga philosophy, pranayama, prenatal yoga, and therapeutic applications of yoga.
